Patricia joined the MIS faculty in 2002 after seven years of teaching experience in Colombia, her home country.  In Colombia, she taught English as a Second Language from preschool to university level.   She received a B.A. in Spanish and English language from <i>Universidad Pedagogica y Tecnologica de Colombia</i>.  She also completed her M.A. in Linguistics at the University of Montana with an emphasis in second language acquisition. Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys traveling, reading, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Janet is orginially from Colombia. She and is excited to return to MIS as part of the 2/3 multiage teaching team and brings fantastic creativity to her classroom. She loves spending time with her daughter, an MIS 6th grader, Jairo (her husband and fellow MIS faculty member) and their dog, Copito.

Anneliese first came to MIS in the fall of 2013 as a student teacher to complete her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa. Anneliese teaches English in the 2/3 classrooms as well as middle school design. In her free time, Anneliese loves to read, sew and play violin.
